MORIARTY

Moriarty, inspired by Foritensum's test scheme (by Gunnarsson), is a high-range IQ test which consists of 28 spatial analogies (including two resolved examples) that are divided into three question sheets and three answer sheets.

To resolve the items of the test, first one must develop a hypothetical question-answer pair based on either observed or (abstractly) perceived similarities between the question and answer item of the pair thus formed. (How one arrives at a correct hypothetical pair varies according to the items in question, which can range from low-level inspection to high-level abstraction.) Once the pair has been discovered (and each question item is always already paired with only one answer item, meaning that as one progresses, items that have been matched can be eliminated from the general pool of possible associations ), the remaining portion of the answer item must be completed in the answer sheet based on the available information comprising the two items as a whole.

Using a superior mode of inference and analyticity like Sherlock Holmes, one must give careful thought to all items at all times.
