Insight! is a experimental test that explores relationships between words and images through associations and analogies. By first establishing an association between the image and the initial letter of a particular word or phrase that hasn't been revealed, one must build the corresponding analogy with the second proposed image by choosing the correct term or phrase. It is convenient to think globally, using all available information: the two images and the provided letter(s).
Your solution must be the initial of the word to complete the analogy. If two letters have been given, then one must provide two letters to complete the analogy. It is acceptable to include the whole word besides the letter in one's answer. This will provide one the means to propose alternative answers should they prove valid against the standard answer. However, if the word guessed, while not being valid, does not match the standard answer and yet begins with the same letter as the standard answer, it will not be accepted as correctAn average knowledge requirement is assumed and all references are allowed. However, success is based on the proper establishment of the initial association, and on many occasions it will require a creative insight: "Eureka!" Later it is necessary to think convergently to establish the appropriate analogy.
The test is difficult and requires motivation and adequate investment for its resolution, for wich a minimum of ~ 6 hours is needed. If one is unwilling to pursue the problems in full depth, taking the needed time to reflect and investigate, it is perhaps best not to attempt this test.
The nomenclature of the analogy is as follows: A : B ~ C : D, i.e., A is to B as C is to D
Instructions for taking this test:
For items 9, 11, 18, 20 and 30 is advisable to use the zoom function available in many programs of one's choice (~ 400%).
You must answer all the items (incorrect answers are not penalized).
Once you have completed the test, you are required to email your answer ( rtf, txt, docx, xls, etc is Ok) together with the completed IQform and identity verification to hiqland@gmail.com, or print them on paper and send them via postal mail to:

The test is currently free of charge.
Only one attempt is allowed.
In a few days you will receive the reported score that you have obtained.
There is no time limit for this test, but it is highly recommended to devote a minimum of 6 hours to complete it.
Please, do not talk about the items in public forums or with other persons.
After the first twenty submissions, a preliminary norming will be issued and the test will have a fee of 15€.
