At last the time has come...

The time of Fractal Time!

Welcome

Do you like fractals?

Are you fed up with complicated exasperating applications?

At last, here is Fractal Time!

Features

Fractal Time! is a freeware application for graphic generation of fractals, with the following features:

  • Its intuitive and pleasant graphical interface makes it ideal for its use in the field of education.
  • The capacity to modify all types of parameters makes it perfect for its use in the professional field.
  • The speed it can generate all types of fractals leaves many alternative programs of generation of fractals back.
  • It has more than 400 color maps.
  • Includes a complete user manual which explains all the parameters and options of the application.
  • It can save any fractal in a BMP file, reason why it can easily be used to generate incredible wallpapers.
  • It uses the Multiple Document Interfaz (MDI) of Windows, which allows to visualize so many fractals simultaneously as it is wanted.
  • It uses the technique of linear interpolation to zoom fractals, which obtains an effect of surprising approach.
  • It uses a grammar for L-Systems compatible with the one of FractInt, reason why anyone of these systems found by the network will be compatible with Fractal Time!
  • It allows the join of Julia sets with Mandelbrot set IN REAL TIME, even in slow computers.
  • It is programmed in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 using Win32 at low level, reason why its speed of generation is spectacular, very recommended for old computers.

Fractals that it generates

Fractal Time! can generate the following fractal families:

  • Fractal Functions: Riemann, Weierstrass, Mandelbrot-Weierstrass...
  • Iterated Function Systems: Great amount of IFS, allowing the easy and direct edition of the Function Systems.
  • Lindenmayer Systems: Great amount of L-Systems, allowing the easy and direct edition of the axiom and the production rules of any L-System.
  • Dynamic Complex Systems: Biomorphs, Julia sets, Mandelbrot set...
  • Strange Attractors: Hénon, Ikeda, Gingerbreadman...
