Under the theme"Knowing God" came to bid, God as a shield or shelter.

The choosen site was an abandoned paintball field just outside of the town of Torrejon de Ardoz. As you can see we needed the Ford van with trailer and a few trips with other cars, to transport all of the older kids and the stuff to that location.

After a few other games they all had a big meal and snack (Merienda)

It was the intention to explain the theme to them with the visual aid of a wall of card board boxes with texts like Miedo (anxiety), Inseguridad (uncertainty), Máscaras (masks), Mentiras (lies), culpa (debt), Dolor (pain) These are all kind of things where you can try to hide behind, while only God can offer us true shelter Psalm 3:3.

Then it was also the intention to play another interesting war game using two giant katapults with large sand bullets (in summer water balloons ara used).

Unfortunately they misbehaved so badly and did n´t pay any attention to the thematical lesson that the whole excursion had to be packed up prematurely like an unpleasant "punishment". So therefore there are neigther images of the kattapult war game.

We had two short term workers who helped greatly Esther (Germany) and Dani (Australia)...
