12 Short Film Festival La Fila 

The Festival is organized by LA FILA Cinema Cultural Association



PARTICIPANTS
Any resident person in Spain and from the European countries, in Spanish-Speaking countries, Brazil and in E.U. countries, will be able to participate alone or in group.

SECTIONS

a) Works made in film format (16mm, 35mm). 
b) Works made in other formats in the sections of: Documentary, Animation, Fiction and Castilla y León.

TECHNIQUE CONDITIONS

The works will be showed in video VHS or DVD, independently of the format where have been made for itsbe showed in Spanish or with Spanish subtitles and the maximum length will be 30 minutes. Maximum two works per person. (filmmaker). 
Works showed in previous editions wont be admited.

The short films must have been produced in 2006 or 2007.
The works made in film, once selectioned, a copy will given in its original format for its projection, which will be admited until the day 20 th Februaryl, 2008. Just one work will be showed in one tape .



THE EVENT OF THE FESTIVAL
Will be in the lounge in "Caja Espana", in Pl/ Fuente Dorada, 6, from 3 th to 8 th of March, 2008.

JURY
"LA FILA" Cinema Cultural Association will designate the Jury Members, who will selection the works which will participate in the Festival and will assign the awards. The Jury´s decitions will be unappealable.

Award: 1500 Euros and trophy 




Castilla y León Short film section.

Junta de Castilla y León Award: 1000 Euros



Animation Short Film Section

Award: 1000 Euros .



Documentary Short Section.

Award: 1000 Euros



Award Mentions and Accreditative Diploma to:
· The best Original Script: 180 Euros 
· The best Lead Actor: 180 Euros
· The best Lead Actress: 180 Euros
· The best Sound Band: 180 Euros
· The best Photograph: 180 Euros 
. The best Make-up and Hairdresser: 180 Euros


INSCRIPTION

The participants will send their works to the Asociación Cultural de Cinematografía La Fila address,C/ Gavilla nº 7, 3ºC, 47014- Valladolid , Spain . Telephone: 629-303454, e-mail: cine-lafila@ono.com, web:http://webs.ono.com /cine-lafila, until 15 th of January , 2.008. Besides the work, the inscription application form must be sent together with it.


Once carried dut the jury´s selection and told to the particpans, it is not allowed to leave the competition.



In order to receive the prize it will be strictly required the presence of the awarded or else the person who represents him.



USE OF THE WORKS

The designated with the awards in all the sections, will give a copy of their short to take part of

the Association Video File


.All the works (tapes) must have a label with the address and the telephone on them.


The tapes won´t be returned.



Acceptation of the bases:
The participation in the festival supposes the acceptation of these bases .
