Welcome! You have arrived to WANBULA, the first Spanish website about eating disorders (specifically anorexia and bulimia). Since this website is oriented to the World's Spanish-speaking community, there is not much information available in English. If you can't speak Spanish, you should better check one of these excellent sites in English or in other languages. WANBULA is a grass-roots citizen group to spread solidarity and give support to victims of eating disorders (specifically anorexia and bulimia). It is made of victims, ex-victims, professionals, relatives, friends and common people who is in solidarity with the sufferers of this very epidemia of the end of millenium. We bet for proximity solidarity, with people who is suffering in our own countries, our own cities, our own districts, our own streets and our own homes.
Some of the objectives for WANBULA are: 
  • Support, education and positive development of victims, their relatives and their friends.
  • Prevent and counterattack, with education and activities, the spreading of this illness.
  • Denounce and favor a social conscience about the danger and relevance of the illness.
  • Ask for state resources and private solidarity to improve prevention and treatment.
  • Generate a solidarity fund to allow less-favored people to receive the best treatment.
WANBULA is a non-profit group and doesn't share any particular religious, political or economical point of view. WANBULA is located in Valencia (Spain, European Union), in the Western coast of the Mediterranean (a nice place, if you were thinking it).
WANBULA is in solidarity with every victim of eating disorders and every fight or support group or individual in the whole world; please don't doubt in contacting us or sending/asking for information. WANBULA is an equal opportunities organization.
